Scope
This standard specifies the principle, equipment, sample, installation, test procedure, result calculation and test report for the determination of thermal conductivity of refractory materials by platinum resistance thermometer method. This standard applies to the determination of the thermal conductivity of refractory materials that do not contain carbon, are non-conductive and have a thermal conductivity not greater than 15 W/(m?K).
