Scope

This standard proposes the model and parameters for estimating the dose to the public based on the emergency radiation monitoring data (or the corresponding data derived from the plume dispersion model) at different stages of nuclear accident emergency. This standard applies to the estimation and evaluation of radiation doses received by the public in the event of a nuclear accident emergency. The estimation and evaluation of public exposure dose under normal operation of nuclear facilities can also refer to the application.
