Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and model nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of household and similar microwave ovens. This standard applies to household and similar microwave ovens with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
