Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of para-aramid pulp (hereinafter referred to as "para-aramid pulp") for friction sealing materials. This standard applies to para-aramid pulp used in friction materials and sealing materials.
