Scope: This standard specifies the high and low temperature test types, division of test conditions, test temperatures and test methods for railway ground signaling products (hereinafter referred to as products). This standard is applicable to test methods for assessing the adaptability of railway ground signaling products to high and low temperatures under specified temperature environmental conditions. This standard does not apply to the following situations: a) Tests for the purpose of studying product changes with temperature cycles; b) Tests for the purpose of studying product durability, weather resistance and corrosion resistance; c) During transportation and Tests conducted under storage conditions with the purpose of studying the changes in products affected by temperature; d) Tests in which equipment and components installed on rolling stock are affected by temperature changes.
