- This standard specifies the method for the determination of water-soluble colorants Acid Yellow 1 and Acid Orange 7, which are banned in creams, lotions, and liquid eye skin care cosmetics by liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of prohibited water-soluble colorants Acid Yellow 1 and Acid Orange 7 in eye skin care cosmetics, but not applicable to the determination of eye skin care cosmetics containing lakes of Acid Yellow 1 and Acid Orange 7. The detection limit of this standard method is 1.5 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 5.0 mg/kg.
