Scope
This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the micro-nutrients boron, cobalt, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc in fertilizer extracts using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). The method is applicable to water and aqua regia fertilizer extracts obtained according to prEN 16962 and/or prEN 16964. The method has been validated successfully in an inter-laboratory test with 34 participating laboratories from 11 European countries and 10 different samples of fertilizer extracts in the frame of mandate M/335. The precision of the method is specified in the document. The statistical data are given in an informative annex.
