This International Standard specifies the major defects and damage acceptable before a wooden flat pallet requires repair and defines the minimum repair criteria to be applied. This International Standard is applicable to wooden flat pallets repaired with wooden parts. NOTE This International Standard describes the major defects and damages, and Annexes A to D provide examples of defects and damages to the most frequently used pallets which, if found, render these pallets unacceptable for use. Similar criteria should be established for other pallet types. The repair criteria for pool and rental pallets are monitored by their respective inspectors or owners, and may be subject to license.
