Scope
This International Standard specifies a method for testing the tightness under internal pressure of composite connections between mechanical fittings and plastic pressure pipes under simultaneous applied bending. It specifies the calculation method for the average bending radius and the execution of this bend. The tightness test under internal pressure is carried out according to the procedure described in ISO 3458. The test procedure does not apply to fusion welded connections.
