- This standard specifies Potato virus S (PVS), Potato virus X (PVX), Potato virus M (PVM), Potato virus Y (PVY), Potato virus Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) molecular biology detection method for Potato leaf-roll virus (PLRV) and Potato virus A (PVA) (see Appendix A). This standard is applicable to the detection of viruses in potato test tube seedlings, original seeds, field potato tubers, plants and other tis ues.
