Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, analysis steps, accuracy and precis on, and test reports of near-infrared non-destructive testing methods for fat in meat. This standard is applicable to non-destructive testing of fat content in livestock and poultry meat, and is not applicable to arbitration inspection.
