This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of main phenolic substances in apples. This standard applies to gallic acid, protocatechuic acid, neochlorogenic acid, proanthocyanidin B1, catechin, chlorogenic acid, proanthocyanidin B2, caffeic acid, epicatechin, p-coumaric acid, rutin, and arabin in apples. Determination of the content of single or multiple components such as Wei acid, quercetin, phlorizin, quercetin and phloretin.
