- This standard specifies the product classification and structure, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of sand filling instruments. This standard applies to the production, inspection and use of sand filling instruments. The sand filling meter is used to measure the density and compaction degree of various materials such as highway base (or sub-base), gravel pavement and roadbed soil on site.
