Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of halogen gas leak detectors (hereinafter referred to as leak detectors). This standard is applicable to leak detectors for detecting halogen gas leakage and alarming in the chemical industry, refrigeration and other industries, but not for mass spectrometer leak detectors.
