Scope: This standard specifies the safety requirements for mechanical and electronic temperature control systems for household and similar floor heating equipment. This standard includes the requirements for the temperature control system for controlling floor heating in the living room, and also includes the requirements for the floor heating thermostat system used in conjunction with pipeline pumps, water heaters, central air-conditioning systems, and building automation systems. It also includes requirements for remote control and intelligent control systems. Functional floor heating temperature control system requirements. This standard does not contain requirements for floor heating radiation. This standard is applicable to rooms with a rated voltage not exceeding 690 V and a rated current not exceeding 63 A, which require single or single heating for the conversion of electric energy into heat (often called electric floor heating) or the diffusion of heat through a thermal fluid medium (often called water floor heating) in the living room.
