- Scope
- This standard specifies the detection methods for toxic and harmful substances such as azo dyes, chlorinated phenols, and heavy metals in flame-retardant clothing. This standard is applicable to the flame-resistant clothing worn by the wearer in places where there are open flames, sparks, operations near molten metal, and flammable substances and fire hazards. This standard does not apply to protective clothing worn in fire rescue.
