Scope

This standard specifies the determination method for the total solid content of fresh natural latex, concentrated natural latex and synthetic latex. This standard applies to natural latex and synthetic latex derived from Hevea brasiliensis. This standard does not necessarily apply to natural latexes other than Hevea brasiliensis, as well as vulcanized latexes, compounded latexes or aqueous rubber dispersions.
