Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of 12 free amino acids in wine by high-performance liquid chromatography with pre-column derivatization of dansyl chloride. This standard applies to arginine (Arg), serine (Ser), threonine (Thr), glycine (Gly), alanine (Ala), proline (Pro), γ-aminobutyric acid ( Determination of 12 free amino acids in total: Gaba), valine (Va1), is leucine (Ile), leucine (Leu), tryptophan (Trp), and phenylalanine (Phe). The detection limits (mg/L) of this standard method are: arginine, 0.38; serine, 0.35; threonine, 0.48; glycine, 0.26; alanine, 0.36; proline, 0.28; γ-amino acid Butyric acid, 0.40; valine, 0.56; is leucine, 0.45; leucine, 0.40; tryptophan, 0.60; phenylalanine, 0.40.
