- This standard specifies the method for measuring the sensitivity and printing range of black and white photographic paper. This standard applies to the production of black-and-white positive reflection prints for continuous-tone or art photography from black-and-white negatives, including ordinary silver halide photographic papers and magnifying papers. This standard does not apply to non-silver halide photographic paper; high-contrast silver halide photographic paper, such as printing plate or other non-art photographic paper; direct positive or reverse image silver halide photographic paper.
