- This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for the determination of pyridine in wastewater. This standard applies to the determination of pyridine in industrial wastewater. This method uses headspace injection gas chromatography. A certain volume of industrial wastewater containing pyridine is placed in a closed container with a certain capacity, and a suitable space is left on the liquid level. After heating the container at a constant temperature for 30 minutes, let the pyridine in the water enter the space. When the gas-liquid two phases reach equilibrium, take the gas from the space above the liquid and inject it into a gas chromatograph equipped with a hydrogen flame ionization detector for measurement. The detection range of this method is 0.49-4.9 mg/L. The minimum detection concentration is 0.031mg/L, and the minimum detection amount is 6.2×10<-8g>.
