Scope: This standard specifies the method for the determination of slime-forming bacteria in industrial circulating cooling water. This standard applies to the determination of heterotrophic bacteria in suspended slime in industrial circulating cooling water. It is also suitable for the determination of heterotrophic bacteria in slime deposited in industrial circulating cooling water, and also suitable for the determination of heterotrophic bacteria in mucus in raw water, domestic water and other water.
