Scope

This standard specifies the standard values of motorcycle exhaust pollutants. This standard applies to two-wheel and three-wheel motorcycles and their engines equipped with four-stroke or two-stroke gasoline engines, with a maximum gross mass of less than or equal to 400kg, an engine displacement greater than 50mL, and a maximum design speed of 50km/h or greater. This standard does not apply to off-road vehicles, racing cars and their engines.
