Scope
This part of ISO 5832 specifies the properties and associated test methods for the wrought titanium alloy, known as titanium 6-aluminum 4-vanadium alloy (Ti 6-Al 4-V alloy), used in the manufacture of surgical implants. NOTE The mechanical properties of a sample obtained from a final product made from this alloy do not necessarily have to correspond to those specified in this part of ISO 5832.
