Scope

This International Standard specifies names for soldering and brazing additives based on their chemical composition. Only for hard solders does the designation contain the solidus and liquidus temperatures. This International Standard deals with the metallic content of additives, e.g. B. Foils, wires, rods, pastes, flux-coated rods/wires, cored wire electrodes (rods/wires), etc., used in soldering and brazing products.
