This standard specifies two test methods for measuring the slippage resistance or stitching reliability of yarns in woven fabrics in the form of standard stitching, namely: method A—constant slip method; method B—constant load method. Usually method A has wider adaptability than method B, so it can be used as the preferred method. This standard applies to woven fabrics for clothing and decoration. However, this standard is not recommended for thinner and looser fabrics. This standard stipulates that the stitching of fabrics adopts the straight seam type of 301 stitches.
