- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of mixed rare earth metals. This standard applies to mixed rare earth metals produced by molten salt electrolysis and used as pyrophoric alloys, non-ferrous metal alloys, rare earth-treated steels and lanthanum-nickel alloys.
