- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, storage and transportation of industrial carbon tetrachloride. This standard is applicable to carbon tetrachloride produced by natural gas thermal chlorination method, carbon disulfide method, methanol method and perchlorination chlorine solution method. The product is mainly used as a solvent for grease, resin, and sol, and as a raw material for fire extinguishing agent, paint, and refrigerant.
