This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of household and similar wet vacuum cleaners. This standard applies to electric-driven wet vacuum cleaners (hereinafter referred to as wet vacuum cleaners) used in households and similar situations, as well as the wet functional part of wet and dry vacuum cleaners. The following products are not applicable to this standard:
——Dry vacuum cleaners;
——Vacuum cleaners using water as the filter medium;
——Vacuum-type floor polis ers;
——Vacuum cleaners specially used for special purposes such as cleaning clothes or cars;
———Industrial vacuum cleaners;
——Cleaning robots for household and similar purposes.
