Scope

1.1 Subject content This standard gives information about the application of converters, including calculation methods and further explanations about performance. 1.2 Scope of application This standard mainly involves grid commutation converters, and the content and calculation methods described are based on grid commutation converters. But some chapters (e.g. calculation of equivalent junction temperature, information on safe operation, etc.) can also be used for other converters. This standard is the extension and supplement of GB/T3859.1. Its content is mainly to explain the technical conditions, performance and changes of the converter, and give relevant background materials and calculation methods to provide convenience for the application of the converter and GB/T3859.1.
