- This standard specifies the method for determining the residual styrene monomer content in polymerized unsaturated polyester resin (referred to as polymerized up resin) reinforced plastics by gas chromatography. The content of residual styrene monomer is an important index to evaluate the curing degree of polymerized up resin. This standard does not apply to chemically resistant up resins. Note: If there is an effective amount of other volatile aromatic hydrocarbon monomers, the determination method can refer to GB4614.
