Scope

This standard specifies the rules for counting and sampling inspection of precious metal jewelry. This standard applies to batch-by-batch counting and sampling inspections (also applicable to isolated batches) during the production and sales of precious metal jewelry products (including ornaments), and also applies to periodic counting inspections for quality supervision of jewelry products (including ornaments).
