Scope

This standard specifies the determination range and test methods of polycarboxylic acid electrolytes such as polyacrylic acid and hydrolyzed polymaleic anhydride in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water. This standard applies to the determination of polyacrylic acid and hydrolyzed polymaleic anhydride in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water with a content of 0-50mg/L. Bactericides such as quaternary ammonium salts and dichloric acid interfere with the determination of this method.
