- Scope
- This standard specifies the rapid potassium dichromate method for the determination of chemical oxygen demand. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical oxygen demand of water samples such as natural water, furnace water, cooling water and desalinated water. The measurement range of chemical oxygen demand (calculated as oxygen) is 0-50mg/L, and when the concentration is greater than 50mg/L, it should be diluted before measurement.
