Scope

This standard specifies the indicator titration method for the determination of alkalinity in water and the pH potentiometric titration method for indicating the end point by pH change. This standard is applicable to the determination of alkalinity in water samples such as natural water, boiler water, cooling water, condensate water, demineralized water and feed water.
