This standard specifies the basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of 35 mm film projection objective lenses (hereinafter referred to as objective lenses). This standard applies to ordinary projection objectives for 35 mm movie projectors. This standard does not apply to objective lenses or additional lenses for special purposes such as zoom, ultra-wide angle, deformation, and zoom.
