Scope

This standard specifies the general performance test methods for rotary shaft lip seals (hereinafter referred to as seals). This standard is applicable to the performance evaluation of the inner frame, exposed frame and assembled rotating shaft lip seal ring used in petroleum-based hydraulic oil or lubricating oil.
