Scope

This specification specifies the requirements for the chromatographic toxic agent detector for chemical defense. This specification is applicable to chemical defense chromatographic toxic agent detectors (hereinafter referred to as chromatographs) for detecting the concentration of nerve agents (sarin, soman and Viex) and erosive agents (mustard gas) by gas chromatography flame photometric detector. Gas chromatographs that use detectors of other principles to measure phosphorus or sulfur poisons can refer to this specification.
