- This standard specifies the instruments, samples, test procedures, result calculations, test reports, etc. used in the determination method of specular gloss of architectural finishing materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of specular gloss of marble, granite, terrazzo and other architectural decorative panels, wall and floor tiles, plastic floors, and glass fiber reinforced plastic panels. Specular gloss of other artificial stone materials (such as artificial marble, etc.) can also be measured with reference to this standard.
