Scope: This standard specifies the Nessler's reagent photometric method and the sodium hypochlorite-salicylic acid photometric method for the determination of ammonium salts in atmospheric precipitation. This standard applies to the determination of ammonium salts in atmospheric precipitation samples. This standard is divided into two parts: the first part is Nessler's reagent photometric method, and the second part is sodium hypochlorite-salicylic acid photometric method. The minimum detectable concentration of Nessler's reagent photometric method is 0.05mg/L, and the determination range is 0.06～1.5mg/L. The minimum detection concentration of sodium hypochlorite-salicylic acid photometry is 0.01mg/L, and the determination range is 0.02-1.2mg/L.
