- This standard specifies the test methods for the main optical parameters of birefringent crystals and transmissive polarizers in the 0.25-1.7 μm spectral region. This standard applies to the testing of the spectral transmission curve and uniformity of birefringent crystals in optics, optoelectronics and laser technology, as well as the testing of the extinction ratio, deviation angle and optical radiation damage threshold of polarizing devices.
