Scope

This standard specifies the models, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules, packaging, transportation and storage of AC rated voltage 10kV and 35kV overhead insulated cables (overhead cables). This standard applies to copper core, aluminum core, aluminum alloy core cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and high-density polyethylene ( HDPE) insulated overhead cables.
