Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs of self-healing low-voltage shunt capacitors. This standard applies to self-healing low-voltage shunt capacitors connected in parallel to improve power factor in AC power systems with a rated voltage of 1000V and below and a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.
