Scope

This standard specifies the electrical, mechanical and other performance requirements for copper-clad phenolic paper laminates for printed circuits. This standard applies to copper-clad laminates made of cellulose paper impregnated with phenolic resin, coated with copper foil on one or both sides, and hot-pressed (hereinafter referred to as foil-clad laminate).
