Scope

This part of GB/T 32660 specifies the technical requirements and inspection and calibration methods of the Webster hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as the hardness tester) used for the Webster hardness test according to GB/T 32660.1. This part is applicable to the direct test method for testing the basic functions of the hardness tester and the indirect test method for the comprehensive test of the hardness tester. The indirect test method can be used independently for regular routine checks of hardness testers in service.
