Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for the product and use of bucket elevators for bulk cargo in ports. This standard applies to belt-type bucket elevators, ring chain bucket elevators, and plate-type roller-sleeved sleeve-chain bucket elevators for port loading and unloading and grain storage and transportation.
