Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and use of self-priming filter dust masks (hereinafter referred to as dust masks). This standard applies to all kinds of dust masks produced, sold and used. This standard does not apply to respirators used in environments with oxygen lower than 18% and toxic gases.
