This standard specifies the technical requirements for chemical companies to adopt the LOPA method, including basic LOPA procedures, scenario identification and screening, initial event confirmation, independent protection layer assessment, scenario frequency technology, risk assessment and decision-making, LOPA reporting and LOPA follow-up tracking and review. This standard is applicable to the protective layer analysis of newly built, renovated, expanded and in-service devices (facilities) of chemical enterprises.
