GB/T 12737-1991 Chemical products for industrial use--General method for determination of traces of sulfate by reduction and titrimetry (English Version)
This standard specifies the general method for the determination of trace sulfate in chemical products. This method is applicable to the sulfate content in the sample or test solution is 4.5 ~ 450μg. The water content in the test solution taken shall not exceed 2mL. See Appendix A for the allowable limits of other ions. When applying this method, the sulfur in the product should be present in the sulfate form. Samples containing other sulfur compounds should be properly pretreated to convert them to sulfate. When the content of sulfate (S42-) is 1~450μg, the precision of this method (indicated by relative deviation) is ±5%; when it is 4.5~15μg, it is ±10%.
