- Scope
- This International Standard specifies an extraction method that may be used to assess the effectiveness of oil extraction processes by comparing the oil content of oil seeds with the residual oil content in the respective extraction meals, pellets and oil cakes. The procedure is not applicable to disputed cases to which ISO 734 is applicable. The method is applicable to oilseed meals obtained from oilseeds by pressing or by extraction with a solvent, as well as to the pellets produced from the residues.
