This International Standard specifies a method for determining the plastic deformability of metallic materials in bending tests. This International Standard is applied to samples taken from metallic products in accordance with appropriate material standards. It is not applicable to special materials or products, e.g. E.g. pipe sections, welded connections for which there are other standards.
